For the Sugar Cookies:

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cream Cheese Swirl:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Blueberry Swirl:

1/2 cup blueberry jam or preserves

Fresh blueberries (optional, for a more intense flavor)


1️⃣ Preheat & Prep: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Cookie Dough: In one bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. In another bowl, cream together butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until smooth. Blend in the egg and vanilla, then gradually stir in the dry ingredients.

3️⃣ Form Cookies: Spoon teaspoonfuls of the dough onto your prepared cookie sheets.

4️⃣ Cream Cheese Mixture: Mix the cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla until creamy.
