For the Sandwich:
4 slices of thick-cut bacon
2 slices of bread (toasted)
4-6 slices of ripe tomato
4-5 leaves of crisp lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Toast the Bread:
Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread 1 tbsp of mayonnaise on each slice of toast.
Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on one slice of toast.
Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Finish and Serve:
Top with the second slice of toasted bread.
Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
