Individual Cheesy Pizza Pot Pies

1 lb ground beef or sausage

1 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade biscuit dough)

Optional toppings: diced pepperoni, mushrooms, or bell peppers

Instructions

Cook the Meat:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.

Add Pizza Sauce:

Stir in the pizza sauce and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Ramekins:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease 4-6 oven-safe ramekins or small bowls.

Assemble the Pot Pies:

Spoon the meat mixture evenly into each ramekin.

Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat.

Top with a biscuit dough round, stretching it slightly to cover the filling.

Bake:

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet to catch any spills.
