2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
¾ cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon melted butter
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let sit for 5-10 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil, then stir until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch the dough down and roll it out into a rectangle, about ½ inch thick.
Cut the dough into strips (about 12-15 depending on your preferred size) and place them on a greased baking sheet.
Brush the tops of the dough sticks with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately, ideally with marinara sauce for dipping.
