Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) or gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

In a medium-sized bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the mixture. Stir to combine.
Stir in the gochugaru or gochujang, depending on how spicy you want the sauce to be.
Add sesame seeds and green onions to the sauce, mixing well.
Season with black pepper to taste.
Allow the sauce to sit for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Use the sauce to marinate beef, pork, or chicken, or drizzle it over your favorite stir-fry or grilled vegetables.
