Ingredients:
Main Dish:
• 1½ lbs steak bites
• 3 tbsp butter
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
Alfredo Sauce:
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1½ cups grated Parmesan
• Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook Tortellini:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sear Steak Bites:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add steak bites and sear for 2–3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Prepare Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet (wipe clean if needed), melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan and continue to cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Assemble:
Toss cooked tortellini with the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. Plate tortellini and top with the seared steak bites. Drizzle garlic butter from the pan over the dish for extra flavor.
