2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup long-grain white rice
2 cups beef or chicken broth
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Optional: chopped parsley or hot sauce for serving

1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in garlic, paprika, cayenne, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the rice and stir to coat it with the seasonings and oil.
5. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
6. Fluff with a fork, garnish with green onions and parsley, and serve hot with hot sauce on the side if desired.
