Baked Chicken Ham and Cheese Croissants

4 large croissants, sliced in half
8 slices chicken ham
4 slices Swiss cheese (or cheddar)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp honey (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley (for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the croissants in half and spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the bottom half (if using).
Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each croissant half, followed by two slices of chicken ham.
Add another slice of cheese on top before placing the croissant top back on.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
Brush the tops of the croissants with the butter mixture for a golden, flavorful finish.
Arrange the croissants on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are crispy.
