Plaque (composed mainly of calcium and magnesium molecules) is formed when the water remaining on the surface evaporates and dries. The only thing you can do is flush the toilet regularly. One of the cosmetic products you probably have at home can also help. This cosmetic product is a shaving foam (not a gel!). This choice may seem a bit surprising, but this method really works.
Shaving foam has excellent cleansing and polishing properties and helps to easily remove limescale build-up in the toilet. This trick is extremely simple but very effective.
How to clean the toilet with shaving foam?
Using shaving foam to clean the toilet is super easy.
Apply the cosmetic product to the toilet brush. Scrub the inside of the toilet with vigorous movements. Leave the foam to act on the surface for a few minutes. Finally, dry the toilet thoroughly and rinse with water to remove any shaving foam residue.
After using this trick, the limescale will disappear and the surface of the toilet will become clean and shiny.
This method is very effective and the result is dazzling. But in my opinion it is not very cheap. Sometimes I borrow foam from my husband when I see that the toilet cleaner is running low.
