Ingredients:
For the Beef Tips:
1½ lbs beef sirloin tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
For the Caramelized Onions:
2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 tablespoons butter
½ cup heavy cream (or milk)

Directions:
In a bowl, toss beef tips with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Sear beef tips in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until browned but tender. Do not overcrowd the pan. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add sliced onions and stir.
Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Cook onions slowly, stirring occasionally, for about 25–30 minutes until deeply golden and caramelized. Add balsamic vinegar in the last 5 minutes for extra depth.
Meanwhile, boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain and mash.
Add butter and cream to the mashed potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Plate the mashed potatoes, top with seared beef tips, and spoon caramelized onions over the top. Serve hot.
