- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed digestive biscuits)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Make the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even layer.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Assemble:
- Pour the filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Cool:
- Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 1 hour, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least another hour before cutting into squares.
- Serve:
- Slice into bars and serve. These are delicious on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
