Pizza Monkey Bread Recipe
Ingredients
For the Monkey Bread:
2 cans (16 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough (or pizza dough)
1 cup pepperoni, chopped (or your favorite pizza toppings)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup melted butter
For the Dipping Sauce:
1 cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan or a deep baking dish.
Prepare the Biscuit Dough:
Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. If using pizza dough, cut it into small bite-sized pieces.
Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces, chopped pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
Coat with Butter:
Drizzle the melted butter over the mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
Assemble in the Pan:
Layer the biscuit mixture into the prepared bundt pan. Press down slightly to pack it in.
Add Parmesan:
If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
Cool and Serve:
Once baked, remove the monkey bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
