Creamy Crack Chicken Penne


1 lb penne pasta

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

3/4 cup bacon, cooked and chopped

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Cook Penne: Prepare penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Aromatics: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.

Creamy Sauce: Reduce heat to low. Add softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning mix to the skillet. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Add Liquids: Gradually pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring continuously until well combined.

Incorporate Ingredients: Add shredded chicken, half of the cooked bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese melts and ingredients are mixed.

Combine with Pasta: Mix cooked penne with creamy chicken mixture until evenly combined.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with remaining bacon and fresh parsley before serving.
