6 egg yolks
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup limoncello liqueur
2 cups mascarpone cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 package ladyfingers
1/2 cup lemon juice
Zest of 2 lemons
Powdered sugar for dusting

In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until light and creamy.
Add the limoncello and continue to beat until well combined.
In another bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Dip the ladyfingers in the lemon juice and arrange them in a single layer in the bottom of an 8×8 inch dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Sprinkle half of the lemon zest over the mascarpone mixture.
Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and lemon zest.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
